Hello LIFECLASS, Good day. I’m always confident you’re in class and I can see you in my spirit. Ha, ha, many thanks for following. You can catch all previous episodes of LIFECLASS on our website – www.davidadeniji.com

Today, I want to tell you that the abundance you’re waiting for is a function of what you are seeing now with our eyes of faith. If you see nothing, then there’s no abundance.

Still, in that 1 Kings chapter 18 that we’ve been considering for some time now, over here in verse 44, we see that finally,  Elijah’s servant finally was able to see a sign of the coming abundance. Listen to that verse 44 and pay close attention.

  1. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.

Hear this LIFECLASS, the law of abundance Is the law of exponential multiplication within a very short time. Every little thing or virtue you have now can be multiplied by God to deliver your abundance. The question is – what do you have?

A few days ago, I told you to train yourself up in faith to see exactly what God is seeing about you. Training yourself in faith is a deliberate exercise and you need to do it well consciously by checking what God is saying about you and refusing to quit believing what he has shown you, even if it looks unrealistic

In 1 Kings Chapter 18 verse 44, That young man focused his attention of faith towards the sea as commanded and returned to check for any signs of rain for seven good times. Finally, he proclaimed he had seen a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. Again, let me pause and ask you again – What do you see?

In Jeremiah chapter 1, God did five things to get Jeremiah prepared for the task He had ahead of him. In verses 4 to 5, He told him about his ordination as a prophet to the nations. Then in verses 6 to 7, God corrected his poor perception about himself – He told him, “Stop saying you’re a child: for you shalt go to all that I shall send you, and whatever I command you to speak, you shall speak”.

In verse 8, he assured Jeremiah of his presence with him and in verse 9, He anointed his tongue. Finally, in verse 10, God spelled out Jeremiah’s mission for him – He said:

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

But as if that was all, in verse 11, Jeremiah Got his biggest test in his ministry. Just one simple question, exactly what I’m asking you this morning today – JEREMIAH, WHAT DO YOU SEE?

In verse 44 of 1 Kings 18, Elijah’s servant after looking persistently onto the sea for a sign of the coming abundance, after focusing and going back there seven times, he finally said that a little cloud was formed in the sky, that looked like a man’s hand. Sounds rather strange, right, but at least he saw something. That is what God will multiply

In Jeremiah’s case after the education and impartation received from God in chapter 1 verses 4 to 10, God asked him the most critical question in verse 11 – Jeremiah, what do you see? I’m glad he saw something too – HE SAID – I see the rod of an almond tree. Sounds strange right? But he saw something and here in Jeremiah’s words – Jeremiah chapter 1 verse 11

  1. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Did you just hear that? What a word: God says – YOU HAVE SEEN WELL – I will hasten my word to perform it. In other words, because you have at least seen something, you have given me something to work with and so, I will hasten all the words I have spoken to you, to bring them to pass.

And of course, I didn’t skip that, flip back to 1 Kings Chapter 1 verse 44 where Elijah’s servant had just seen a little cloud formed like a man’s hand. Now, hear what Elijah said upon hearing that: hear it again for yourself…

  1. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he ( that is, Elijah) said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not

Again LIFECLASS, what a word!. Did you just see that? The rain had not poured, all we had now was a little cloud forming like a man’s hand, yet Elijah made bold to proclaim to Ahab, that he better hurry up, or else that gush of abundant rain will get him soaked in the open. Elijah had been praying in Mount Carmel all this while and kept waiting for that young man to come up with something, to see something.

For the third time, LIFECLASS, let me ask you – what do you see? Please don’t be deceived, if you don’t look, you cannot see. What are you looking at? Be it physically and in God’s word. Be careful what takes your attention on social media. Sometimes, you have to switch off your data for some time to concentrate. Maybe for a while, you need to read the paper Bible and not the one on your phone so you can avoid these social media distractions.

What you see is what you will get. What are you seeing in God’s word? When you read the bible, what do you see? Is what you read in the Bible making any sense to you at all? If what you read in the Bible doesn’t make any meaning to you, then I know someone who has been there too. The Ethiopian Eunuch had the same problem in Acts 8 verses 26 to 38. But He kept looking at it until God sent him Philip and he was baptized. If you’ve already given your life to Jesus, then What you need is the Holy Ghost baptism. Now shout out loud. Lord I need your Holy Spirit baptism, Open my eyes, let me see in Jesus’ Name.

What is God telling you? What are the dreams you’re having? What do you always find interesting and you wish you can do something about them, even if it doesn’t make sense to you or to the people around you and they think you are speaking gibberish, or you can’t become it. It doesn’t matter, just write down. Joseph also saw himself as leader over his parents and brethren, he saw that much, and it came to pass.

Just like Elijah waited for that young man to see some something before he proceeded, we will have to wait until you see something – in his word, in your spirit – until you have a vision of what you really want – we will wait until you see something tangible before tour abundance can gush. So what do you see? Let me give you an exercise. Always move around with a pen and paper, expecting to see something, to hear something, to perceive something. When you hear sermons, pay attention, when gentiles speak, pay attention, when you see people agitate, pay attention. God can speak to you through ordinary circumstances. When you sleep, put that paper beside you. Wait for your word.

Recite this with me: Please pay attention to every word. It’s your prayer for today:
Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 1 to 4

  1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
  2. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
  3. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end, it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry – In Jesus Name

The good news is: God is probably already showing you something, but you aren’t paying attention. He’s already showing you who to get married to, but you’re ignoring the signs. He may already be pointing you in one direction, but you insist on going in the direction of your B.sc or your degree. Please humble yourself and pay attention.

Today, you will see what he’s already showing you, and your abundance will come speedily in Jesus’ Name.

If you haven’t given your life to Jesus, then you may not see anything. And if you aren’t seeing what God had to show you, abundance is far away. It’s the truth. The Bible says he reveals things to us by His spirit. And His spirit is for his sons. Say, Lord Jesus, I come to you today and I’m sorry for my sins. I receive your forgiveness and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you for saving me in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Oh, I congratulate you.

Thanks, everyone for joining today’s LIFECLASS. Join me again tomorrow in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
